THE ACHIEVER'S ULTIMATE DISCOVERY

I set my mind to understand the secrets of success and witty inventions, to know what makes achiever’s achieve, to understand the methodology and steps to speedy progress and to understand how to stay on top.

I perused through the pages of history, to see how men of worth became who they are, to understand how they gained value, I went through ages past, I sought references from various races as to get what differentiates and distinguish people in each generation.
This I found and it marveled me, I stayed on what I found, I pondered on it. I discovered the difference between the achiever and the non- achiever, the successful and the unsuccessful, those who enjoyed speedy progress and those who did not is so amazing that I couldn’t but share with you.

I found that those who achieved had a specific target in view, that there efforts were channeled towards a particular achievement, that they know what they wanted and they went for it. There was definiteness of purpose with them and all these gave them the edge they needed in there generation. The sum total of these characteristics is embodied in the word called GOALS

So, I sat down and meditated on this starting with a question which was ‘why are these characteristics important to becoming an achiever. After a thorough analysis of their lifestyle, the importance of these characteristics opened up to me and I thought I’d share.
I saw that they have it intrinsically configured in there mindset that Life is a race. They understand that every human once born begins a race. I found in a book of records, a book that has made and is making history, a portion which reads that the race is not to the swift, neither is the battle for the strong but that time and chance happens to us all. I stayed on this and when it opened up to me I discovered that everybody has an equal opportunity to be an achiever.

So what then? If everybody has equal opportunity, why isn’t everybody an achiever? So I discovered that the problem is that most people just find themselves in the race without even knowing where they are headed. They are in the race without a destination in view and therefore end up achieving nothing. And since a race without a destination in view is a waste of time, they end up wasting their time and since a man’s life is a summed up in ‘time’, they end up wasting their life time.
After discovering this, I decided to show and give a view reasons that should appeal to logics based on observation on why having a goal is important and this reasons are highlighted down.

Goals birth vision

The first thing that occurred to me when I was thinking on vision was the importance of sight. Imagine not having the ability to see and always needing someone to lead you by the hand, Imagine the rights (freedom of movement, can’t make choices that are sight determined etc.). I thoroughly analyzed the importance of the four types of sight a man need in life in the previous book I published titled ‘what does the future holds for me’.
So I came up with this that a vision  is a mental picture of a future you want to feature in. setting of goals will therefore create a picture in your mind which In turn would be described as your vision. I mean any achiever you see at one time had a vision and most still do have a vision if they aren’t dead.

The question you are to ask me then is that what does having a mental picture of a future you want to feature in has to do with goals? The answer is simple without goals there can be no vision and you can’t have a vision without setting goals. It is the goals that would determine your achievement. So goal setting is an integral part in the manifestation of a vision. Vision and goals are so interwoven that you can’t separate them.
I discovered that when you have no goals, you end up been a fulfillment to other people’s goals. Your goal creates your vision and that gives a productive action. Also understand that your action without goal is just a waste of activity.

In the books of records, a great achiever in history by the name Paul said this “I don’t run aimlessly as  someone beating the air, but I run that I may obtain a price’. The mental picture in the mind of this great achiever is that of the price that he wanted to get. Achievers do not keep their eyes off the price and ultimately there goal is always vision directed.
